A soft collar with a gentle status glow can read as “on duty” without covering neck or head sensors. Keep foam and LEDs clear of joint lines at the neck. This is a CoraCo Studio™ robot accessories / Optimus accessories how-to idea for humanoid robot accessories — not affiliated with Tesla.

Soft collar status light clear of neck sensors

  1. Choose a soft, lightweight collar band with a low-profile glow accent — no hard shells, metal clasps, or thick armor that could jam the neck crease.
  2. Seat the band on the upper chest / lower neck zone only — leave head sensors, neck joint covers, and any chin/camera paths uncovered.
  3. Use soft peel-off fastening that does not wrap through the joint gap; never drill into factory neck panels or block walking/head sensors.
  4. Nod- and turn-test the head: if travel hesitates or a sensor window is covered, remove the collar or shrink the glow patch — soft accessory ideas only.

Honest stop: anything that locks the neck, covers head sensors, or hard-mounts into the collar shell is out of scope — soft accessory ideas only, no Tesla parts claims.
