A silly soft fabric mask can read as “dressed” for a demo without blocking the head cameras a humanoid needs. Keep the cloth below the visor band and away from forehead and eye-line sensors. This is a CoraCo Studio™ robot accessories / Optimus accessories how-to idea for humanoid robot accessories — not affiliated with Tesla.

Soft fabric mask that stays clear of head sensors

  1. Choose a soft, lightweight fabric cover with no hard frames, glitter glue, or dense opaque panels that could shade cameras.
  2. Seat it on the lower face/cheek zone only — leave the visor band, forehead sensors, eye-line cameras, and neck cooling vents uncovered.
  3. Use soft ties or stretch loops that peel off without residue; never drill into factory head panels or block joint travel at the neck.
  4. Walk-test head turns and a short approach to a person: if any vision warning or tracking hesitation appears, remove the mask or cut a larger sensor window — soft accessory ideas only.

Honest stop: anything that covers cameras, blinds depth sensors, or hard-mounts into the head shell is out of scope — soft accessory ideas only, no Tesla parts claims.
