Garage door remote — wall LED blink means learn mode open
Garage remote
If the wall-button LED keeps blinking, learn mode may still be open. Finish or exit before blaming the garage door remote battery.

A blinking wall control LED is a common hint that learn mode is still active. Close that window before you replace a garage door remote battery or re-seat a visor clip.
Wall-button LED blink often means garage learn mode is still open
- Watch the wall button or motor LED after you press Learn. A steady or timed blink usually means the opener is waiting for a remote press.
- Press the handheld garage door remote once within the maker’s short learn window so the code saves.
- If you are not programming, wait out the timeout or press Learn again per the manual to exit — leaving learn open can confuse pairing.
- Only after learn is closed, test range and then check garage remote battery or visor clip seating.
Honest stop: if Learn will not time out, the wall control LED stays fault-blinking, or the door moves on its own, disconnect power and call a door technician — do not keep mashing remotes.
