Match wiper blade adapter before you buy
Wiper size
Before you buy windshield wiper blades, match hook, pinch-tab, or bayonet adapters — wiper blade size alone is not enough.

Correct windshield wiper blades length still fails if the adapter is wrong. Match the arm style first, then confirm wiper blade size.
Match the wiper blade adapter before you buy
- Lift the wiper arm and look at how the old blade attaches: J-hook, pinch tab / side lock, bayonet, or a proprietary clip.
- Note driver and passenger lengths separately (many cars differ). Photograph the arm tip if the packaging charts confuse you. Not sure of the lengths? See how to find your windshield wiper blade size.
- Buy blades that list your adapter type and length. Open the kit and confirm the adapter pieces match your arm before you discard the old blade.
- Install one side, lower the arm gently onto the glass, and do a washer spray test before you commit the second side.
If the adapter will not click home, do not force it — you may have the wrong kit.
Honest stop
Adapter adapters that feel loose will chatter even with a perfect rubber edge. Size-matched blades with a solid click beat a “universal” guess.
