Vacuum bags — change the bag at the fill line, not when bursting
Vacuum bag
Change vacuum bags when they reach the fill line or the full indicator, not when they are packed tight. Overfull bags cut suction and strain the motor.

Vacuum bags lose suction well before they are packed solid. Change the bag when dust reaches the fill line or the full indicator turns on.
Change vacuum bags at the fill line
- Check the bag window or full indicator after each big cleaning session.
- When dust reaches the marked line (often about two-thirds), swap the bag.
- Do not shake or squeeze a full bag to make room — it pushes dust into the filters.
- Seat the new bag collar fully and close the door until it latches.
Honest stop: if the indicator says full on a nearly empty bag, check the hose for a clog instead.
